You’re running us out the door Running us out the door What are you waiting for? When you gonna take me home? Here we go unto the same routine The cycle follows the wave ‘til we’re diggin’ a grave of lies, Lies , Lies Speaker of the Bright, the sun arises to give us a way to accept you, and all your regrets Your exchange couldn’t bring you away from it all Bright Eyes couldn’t share you in all that despair (‘Til we’re digging our...) You alive to expel, We’re alive to excel...(Excel!) Bright Eyes Just what are you waiting for? You’re running us out the door You’re running us out the door. 3. Fun with Fun - Written by Naeemah Z. Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin,Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Drum Programming Tony Flangiello - Drum set Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass __________________________ I'm having fun, I'm having fun and while I'm with you I want to get to get you consumed before my reign is over. I saw a picture in an outer stream and it said you could be anything that you want to be... For we have the power of ability, agility When everybody knows, then everybody grows But anyway, I'm having fun, I'm having fun and so it doesn't matter Home grown under a satellite . And I just might be there... I had a vision in an outer stream I saw you looking out and looking greener looking greener then I thought. We're on the edge of this insanity or can it be a little thing you do when you are so desperate? Humanity will always suffer 'cause there'll always be a need - Another reason to bleed. I never thought that you would turn away you head You have no reason to hoard it all, (you are a rat), holding everyone back But anyway I'm having fun, until I’m done and so It doesn't matter, I’m fine under a satellite and I just might be there. Be there , I'll be there . And I just might be there. With all my might…. Be there.

4. Never Cry Wolf - Written by Naeemah Z. Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Aux. Instruments,Programming Tony Flangiello - Drums Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass ________________________________ Wait for me ...Wait for me... Be careful of what you wish for, 'cause you may not endure the lessons that await That's why you... never cry... Wolf and spin the truth how you want, (Lies) Be, be mindful of the ties you burn as you walk alone through bodies you discard That's why you never cry Wolf cause when you do, the chaos follows ... Chaos when, you can spin the truth how you want That's why you never cry... Cause when you do, there's chaos when you can spin truth Cause when you do, the chaos follows lies Unjust and cruel you'll take your rule and all of the pieces collide Where the evil in us all reside, you'll have your say And our bodies all will lay when it's time to put the pieces all away Unjust and cruel you'll take your rule and all of the pieces collide Unjust and cruel.... A slight of hand (such a slight of hand, such a slight of hand) Such a slight of chance (Such a slight of chance), you'll have your say. And our bodies all will lay when it's time to put the pieces all away That’s why you never cry Wolf and spin the truth how you want Wait for me , wait for me .....

5. SIlver Fool - Written by Naeemah Z. Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Tony Flangiello - Drums Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass _________________________ Don't give up too soon, We have yet to bloom, Broken dreams free fall from the sky You've made a second skin, Now you are trapped within telling lies to your inner soul... like "you're all that mattered" like "we never mattered" suffering in this constant flow ... But you're wrong. We all belong Silence, the silver fool, strangers, they came to rule Steal your voice, and implant their thoughts like that's all that matters like that's all that mattered As long as you can preserve my insides But you're wrong. We all belong. We all belong.

6. Thread - Written by Naeemah Z. Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Tony Flangiello - Drums Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass ___________________________ Imagine Imagine imagine imagine look to the corners of your mind, Where you have no place to hide And it's my understanding that you'll find where our likeness coincide So go find someone, someone like me (we can see we all are one) Go find yourself, I guarantee If you are listening we shouldn't have to complicate the fact that we are adjusting the love inside Our hearts are one and you're asking questions why So (why can't we see we are one) go find someone, someone like me (we can see we all are one) Go find yourself, I guarantee All lonely souls are so afraid to look around And how could you judge when you never took a look inside (are you afraid to look inside) ...once? There's a place where we can connect We connect in ways we never imagine imagine imagine imagine I am the addendum to your world where you feel that fear is strong but it's my estimation that you'll soar even higher than before So (why can't we see we are one?) go find someone, yourself in me (we can see we all are one) Go find yourself, I guarantee Our lonely souls are so afraid to look around And how could you judge when you never took a look inside, (are you willing to look inside) once? There's a place where we can connect (we connect in ways we never imagined) There's a place where we can connect (we connect in ways we never imagine) There's a place There's a place where we... connect We connect in ways we never imagine, imagine, imagine, imagine, imagine

Instruments, Drum Programming Matt Hollenberg - Drum Programming Scott Radway - Drum Programming _________________________________ Salut. You came too smug to care. To care. What is this place where forever will never be gone? I cannot stay. I want to go. At last, you caved. I never knew your heart would beat the same, As me. Love’s ebb and flow And I couldn’t dream of another place where all the pain would dissipate again .... But still there’s nothing for you... Vile Tyrant and the Middle men - Let’s get them out now! And then we’ll sail away Just enough to feel the shadow, And I fell into you Just enough to feel the shadow, And I fell into truth Blue skies fall..fall...yes falling down... But don’t you always feel something pulling you? Back from whence you came. It’s pulling you away. Vile Tyrant and the Middle men - Let’s get them out now! Mankind’s own insecurities; That’s why you corrupt us again Vile Tyrant, a slumlord to their terrestrials When the acceleration equals light and speed and we awake in a dream state, to access the space in our minds and fly Low and behold, you’ve got me controlled (Just enough to feel the shadow) You’ve got me, OH! You’ve got me controlled, controlled. You’ve got me controlled, oh You’ve got me controlled You’ve got me controlled

Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Tony Flangiello - Drums Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass _____________________________ Who gives you life, and who gives you depth, When no one is around you? I guess, you can remain trying to blame the elements around you When you are wealth untapped When I say: Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) When it’s all that you can bring Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) There’s no use in being vain Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) And help you see the truth Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) ‘Cause your heart is wealthy too Who lies to you more? You fear the unknown When no-one’s there to stop you And who... who can’t say yes to happiness When jest is all around you? When you are wealth untapped When I say: Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) When it’s all that you can bring Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) There’s no use in being vain Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) And help you see the truth Give me the money, Give me the money (price you pay) ‘Cause your heart is wealthy too your heart is wealthy too, your heart is wealthy too ...the boy who has it all...builds a wall to separate...he built a ladder too..., he can't even relax . so how can I believe the boy?

9. Softer Side - Written by Naeemah Z. Maddox NZM - Flute, Violin, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Tony Flangiello - Drums Josh "Freshy" Cisario : Bass ______________________________ I say you can breathe and send your light When you're swallowed by doubt and never give up, for promise comes your way Just sit and stare like it's a game I should have known, I should have grown sound I sway in the wind free and you look up at me, sadly Make your spirit see I can't be saved, Not for, not for one of you I love you, so you cry like you care All I ever wanted can't be so grand, while you sit and reprimand I saw your shadows align it comes and goes until you can breathe in the air, for the savior's home but I'm never safe, rather be alone. swallowed, swallowed I sway in the wind free and you look up at me, until you can breath in the air (make your spirit see) I can't be saved Not for, not for one of you I sway, I love you, and so I cry, still you fall Still you never know (swallowed) if I should be trusted. Some sound.

about

“Vile Tyrant and the Middle Men” is Naeemah’s second full length album. More than 5 years in the making, this concept album serves as a statement analyzing the effect of mankind’s struggles on a macro (political) and micro (personal) level. Enhanced with the visual images created by Artist Lindsey Wavrek, this album is dense with color and texture. VTMM showcases a more complete view of Naeemah’s uniquely quirky compositional style. Naeemah recorded this album in her West Philly apartment on her Imac with a simple set up: condenser mic, interface, midi keyboard and a whole lot of trouble shooting. Naeemah recorded all of the instruments on the album with the exception of Drums (Tony Flagiello) and Bass (Josh “Freshy” Cisario). These instruments include all flutes, violins, keyboards, vocals, drum programming and bass on two of the nine tracks. The result is an album that blurs and bridges the lines between Progressive Chamber pop and soul infused rock.
